As Midwesterners ourselves, we are naturally pragmatic and purposefully selective. We are laser focused on acquiring a controlling interest in small and mid-size companies in northern Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Michigan, which have established durable, niche-focused businesses in industries such as specialty chemicals, niche manufacturing, custom industrial services, and specialized B2B services. Our intent is to provide liquidity for growth and to bridge the gap from founders/owners to next generation owners so that we grow together and reap the rewards together.
Seeking Companies that MeetOUR INVESTMENT CRITERIA
- Companies with consistent EBITDA of $1 million to $2 million for the past 3 years
- Experienced management teams with a record of high performance + integrity
- Established competitive advantage + market share in well-defined market or niche
- Located within a 120-mile radius of Fort Wayne, Indiana
Maple Seed Capital does not invest in startup companies or those involved in venture capital raises or turnarounds. We only invest where we have a majority share. We are unlikely to invest in businesses located outside of our geographic area in the Midwest.
